Over the past year the US, UK, and Australian Governments have begun banning the use of Chinese Security Cameras in their Parliamentary buildings due to data security and privacy concerns.

IVSEC declares that all products manufactured to date are compliant with the John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) and do not contain any "telecommunications equipment or services" banned by the NDAA, nor do they employ any component or technology of any system -substantial, essential, critical, or otherwise- from the banned Chinese companies.

To be considered NDAA compliant, it is necessary to ensure that the CCTV product being used does not incorporate applications or components that are produced by or sourced from Huawei/HiSilicon, Hikvision, ZTE, Hytera, Dahua, or any of their subsidiaries, or related Chinese-owned companies.

The NDAA 2019, also known as the John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act, is a federal law in the United States that became effective on August 13, 2018. One of its notable provisions prohibits federal agencies and their contractors from acquiring or utilizing particular video surveillance, telecommunications services, equipment, and components made by specific manufacturers.
