Traditional security cameras often use infrared (IR) light for night vision, but this typically results in grainy black-and-white images lacking clarity. While using warm light provides vibrant colour, it consumes much power, increasing electricity costs and contributing to light pollution.
To address these issues, UNV has developed the ColorHunter 2.0, a security camera that incorporates advanced low-light imaging technology. This camera utilises "Smart Dual Light Technology," enabling it to switch between different light sources intelligently depending on the environment. It offers both colourful and energy-efficient performance while minimising environmental impact.
Smart Illumination
This feature uses advanced motion detection to identify humans and vehicles accurately. When no movement is detected, the camera operates in energy-saving "stealth mode," using infrared (IR) for black-and-white surveillance. This conserves power and minimises light pollution.
However, when the camera detects human or vehicle activity, it automatically switches to warm light, enabling the capture of high-quality colour images for enhanced detail and clarity.
Once the activity ceases, the camera seamlessly reverts to IR mode, conserving power and maintaining discreet surveillance.
Remote Lighting Control
You can control camera lighting remotely from anywhere at any time through the app.
