Solution 2000/3000 - How to add a 3rd domestic number
Adding a Third Domestic Number: Solution 2000/3000
Domestic calls will only be made in the event of an emergency. It will not transmit Open/Close or Disarm/Arm reports to the domestic users.
When we utilize [9][6][5] to do domestic default, the system changes the Zone Status Report / Arm. Disarm Report / System Status Report to "2 = Report to Receiver 2."
On previous firmware versions (before 2.0) Solution 2000/3000 could only handle up to two domestic numbers. There was no problem setting the report routes to receiver 2 because there was no Receiver 2 in the system. However, with the most recent firmware version 2.0, the system supports up to 8 domestic numbers, which may pose a difficulty if a third domestic number is added.
Please clarify how many domestic numbers you intend to put into your alarm system; if more than two, manually change the Transmission Format of Receiver 2, 3, or 4 to 4 = Domestic. You must also manually set the following reporting routes to 0 = No reports allowed.
This way, the domestic reporting is properly configured.
